We will be hosting Lia Kohl & Whitney Johnson, performing as a duo this summer. Lorain will be the first stop on their tour!
Opening performances by our lady of marshes (Cleveland) & Holographic Throne (Lorain).
“Lia Kohl is a cellist, composer, and multidisciplinary artist based in Chicago. She creates and performs sonic landscapes utilizing cello, synthesizers, field recordings, and live radio to explore the mundane and profound possibilities of sound.”(via Lia Kohl website)
“Whitney Johnson is an artist who interprets the unknown with sound. She composes with the viola, as well as sine waves, tuning forks, electronics, organ, vocalization, reel-to-reel tape looping, cassette tape sampling, and field recording.”(via University of Chicago)
